FLIGHT SAFETY & SERVICE TERMS
Terms of Service & Flight Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Every project is subject to applicable FAA rules, weather, airspace requirements, and the remote pilot’s safety decisions.
Services
Altitude Views LLC provides aerial photography and videography for real estate, commercial properties, construction progress, events, celebrations, and property documentation. We do not offer engineering evaluations, structural inspections, certified building inspections, surveying, or other services requiring separate professional credentials unless expressly agreed and appropriately qualified.
FAA Compliance and Pilot Authority
Flights are subject to applicable FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Part 107 where applicable, airspace restrictions, authorizations, temporary flight restrictions, and operational limitations. The designated Remote Pilot in Command has final authority over aircraft operations and may decline, modify, delay, or stop a flight for safety or legal reasons.
Weather and Environmental Conditions
Flight availability depends on wind, gusts, precipitation, visibility, storms, temperature, and other operational conditions. Altitude Views LLC may postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel aerial operations when conditions are unsuitable. We will reasonably attempt to arrange an alternative date when feasible.
Airspace and Authorization
Booking requests and quotes do not guarantee that flight is permitted at a requested location or time. Required authorizations must be obtained before relevant operations. If authorization is unavailable, we may propose an alternative flight plan, time, or location, or cancel the affected services.
Property Access and Client Responsibilities
Clients must arrange appropriate access and permissions for locations where the crew needs to enter, stage equipment, or operate. Clients should disclose relevant site hazards, venue restrictions, and other conditions affecting the work. Property-owner consent does not override FAA requirements.
Privacy and Responsible Imaging
Neighboring buildings, landscaping, roads, and other surroundings may appear incidentally in aerial imagery. We aim to respect privacy and will not intentionally capture imagery in a manner that unlawfully invades a person’s reasonable expectation of privacy.
Scheduling and Confirmation
Submitting the website quote form is only an inquiry. A booking is confirmed after Altitude Views LLC and the client agree on the scope, schedule, and applicable terms. Availability and flight conditions may affect scheduling.
Pricing and Payment
Website package prices are starting or advertised prices and may vary with project location, complexity, airspace, and deliverables. Any deposits, payment schedule, extra charges, and due dates will be specified before a booking is confirmed. Sending a quote request does not require a deposit.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Please notify us promptly if you need to change a confirmed appointment. Rescheduling depends on availability. Weather-related or regulatory delays may require an alternative date. Any cancellation fees, deposit treatment, or refund terms must be agreed before booking; applicable law and the written agreement govern payments and refunds.
Deliverables and Turnaround
The agreed package or written quote defines the number of photos, video duration, editing, delivery method, and expected turnaround. We cannot guarantee specific angles or shots when flight safety, regulations, access, or conditions prevent them.
Ownership and Usage
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Altitude Views LLC retains copyright ownership in the original creative work, subject to applicable law. After full payment, clients receive a nonexclusive license to use delivered material for the purposes stated in their service agreement. Additional resale, transfer, or licensing may require written permission. Use of commissioned work in our public portfolio will follow the applicable client agreement and any required permissions.
Limitations and Delays
We do not guarantee specific property sales, marketing outcomes, or other commercial results. Weather, airspace restrictions, government actions, or equipment problems may cause delays. Any limitation of liability remains subject to applicable law and the specific service agreement; nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and Governing Law
We may update these website terms from time to time. Updates do not automatically override already-agreed booking terms. Applicable federal law and the laws of Michigan govern as relevant.
